Learn MoreIn 2016, a group of Saptari youngsters met to explore how they might use their newly acquired talents to help community development and the youth movement. when young individuals, they saw that when they grew older, they would face the same challenge of finding a platform to use their abilities and expertise. Following multiple rounds of discussions and brainstorming, Saptari youths agreed to organise the inaugural Saptari youth conference in order to learn the problems, difficulties, and solutions encountered by Saptari youths, marginalised groups, and rural peoples. The first Saptari Youth Conference took place on August 12 and 13, 2016.
Following the conclusion of the Saptari Youth Conference, young people in Saptari began a Saturday-long campaign to raise awareness of sanitation in the Saptari district. The youths also began receiving favorable comments from everyone, and as a result, an NGO was required in order to scale up awareness campaigns and other initiatives. In January 2017, Saptari Youth Nepal was officially registered as an organization.
